Many stores sell carpet, but no one in Vermont has been serving their community for as long as Lacey's. Its wonderful to have a customer bring in their grandchildren and tell us we carpeted their first home, and that they rely on us because we don't only sell them a product. We repair all types of flooring. We freshen up and revitalize area rugs with the best hot water extraction equipment in the business, using the area's only climate-controlled drying room to bring you the best possible results. History:

Lacey's was founded in 1939 when Roger and Emma Lacey started cleaning rugs out of their home in South Burlington. They began selling carpet shortly afterwards and a floorcovering legacy was born! The business was run by the Lacey family until their sons decided it was time to retire in 2013. The helm was then taken by Glen Wheel, owner of The Carpetmaster, whose family had also been in the flooring business for over 50 years. A number of Lacey's employees have been with us for over 20 years, so you will always see a familiar face when you stop in!
